Ledjit’s consultants identifies the people, processes, and technology involved in an organization’s discovery responses. Through interviews, surveys and documentary reviews, Ledjit is able to gain insight into the discrete interactions during the discovery phases of identification, preservation, collection, review and production. The assessment quickly provide Ledjit’s clients with a view of how ready their organisation is to deal with future electronic discovery requests and provide them with a roadmap to any areas of deficiency. Initial onsite sessions with key legal, IT and other stakeholders provide the basis for the assessment which can then be supplemented with personal interviews or online custom surveys to carry out a qualitative and quantitative evaluation of current processes and capabilities. This leads to a gap analysis against a defined standard for electronic discovery or a commonly used procedural rules (e.g. the US Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, Rules of Civil Procedures, Practice Directions, the Sedona Principles, etc.).
